What is Hospice?
Hospice is not about giving up, it is about choosing to live each moment with comfort, dignity, and support.

At Ariel Hospice, we focus on enhancing quality of life through expert medical care, pain and symptom management, emotional support, and spiritual guidance. Our team is here to care for the whole person—and their loved ones—every step of the way.
When is it Time?
It may be time to consider hospice when a physician has provided a serious or terminal diagnosis and curative treatments are no longer effective, appropriate, or desired.

Early hospice involvement allows patients and families to benefit fully from the services available, yet many are referred too late to experience the full support hospice offers.
Choosing hospice early can mean more peace, more comfort, and more meaningful time together.
How to Begin Care
Anyone can make a referral to hospice—including physicians, nurses, social workers, family members, or the patient themselves.
To begin care, eligibility must be certified by the patient’s attending physician and the hospice medical director.
